Women@Tech presents: Tackling Bias & Harnessing Innovation in AI

With the huge progress in AI capability it’s clear that our dependence on will only increase and we all ultimately want this tech transformation to benefit humanity (AI for good). AI models may be trained on vast amount of data from from multiple sources but they could represent a biased world without proper guardrails and oversight in place. But how do we spot signs of bias? What can we prevent and manage bias? How do we interact with AI models in ways that could encourage less biased responses?

Join us for a lively discussion about AI technology & the potential consequences of bias, and whose responsibility it is to address. We’ll also be sharing useful resources and providing an opportunity to network in-person with drinks and canapes.
